Keeping the Dufour DNA with plenty of exciting new features.

The Dufour 48 sailboat announced in September 2024 is a luxury yacht of nearly 15 meters, designed to replace the Dufour 470. Creating an unforgettable sailing experience is the goal of this new model.

The interior space has never been as bright as in this new model. The coachroof windows provide constant, diffused light along their entire length. Daylight will thus illuminate the entire saloon and galley.

The Dufour 48 sailboat offers, a spacious aft cockpit. Two cockpit tables are installed to ensure  everyday comfort and ease of moving around. But the model doesn’t stop there, the major innovation introduced by the Dufour 48 is a second cockpit at the front.

The coachroof is adorned with large, elongated windows. To complete the look, a large number of opening portholes have been added.

As you may know, the most requested option at the Dufour Shipyard – apart from navigation equipment – remains the plancha grill installed on the aft platform. This has been redesigned to provide even more space and  new equipment has been added to transform the plancha area into a true outdoor kitchen.

The performance of our flagship has always been of prime importance and the proportionally more elongated and penetrating hull will have a very good cruising speed and excellent sailing behaviour.
